Quote: ProxyCap - a small program that will allow you to any application to issue in the Internet through a proxy, even if it is not supported. Provides SOCKS-ifikatsiyu (for programs not working with proxy). Supports HTTP, SOCKS 4, SOCKS 5 proxy servers. You can specify which application should connect to the network using a proxy, and under what conditions. The program works as follows: it intercepts attempts to connect the applications that want to go to the Internet, and performs tunneling of these compounds by passing them through a proxy server. So are Internet-based applications unaware of the existence of the proxy server and does not require additional configuration (setting occurs as if there is a direct connection to the Internet without a proxy).


ProxyCap enables you to tunnel Internet applications through HTTP, SOCKS v4, and SOCKS v5 Proxy Servers. You can tell ProxyCap which applications will connect to the Internet through a proxy and under what circumstances. This is done through a user friendly interface, without the need to reconfigure any of your Internet clients. ProxyCap provides flexible rule system and allows you to define your own "tunneling" rules. You can add a new rule with just a few mouse clicks.
